A mobile court of Chittagong Port in a drive in Karnaphuli River yesterday fined 10 vessels for different grounds
Authorized officer of Chittagong Port and Executive magistrate Mohammad Abul Hashem, conducted the mobile court in cooperation with port security forces and port officials and fined the vessels for overloading, keeping expired fire extinguishers, plying in the river without legal documents and for not keeping Bay crossing permit.
The court also realized a total of TK 2.80 lakh from the vessels, a press release of Chittagong Port said.
